When you open your eyes after being hypnotized, you will feel like a
non-smoker and smoking will feel like a past distant memory, something
you once did a long time ago.
You will NOT have the cravings, urges, desires for tobacco or feel
like smoking. You will feel good and healthy. The smell of smoke will be
unappealing and unappetizing. You will not miss the tobacco or nicotine.
However, one most common mistake people make after being hypnotized is
after the hypnosis session, they feel fine and they sit there putting it
to the test with trying very hard to feel the urge to smoke, wondering
where is that craving they are so familiar with. If you try hard enough,
you can bring it back, thinking about that feeling of cravings for a
cigarette. When you do this, you are re-hypnotizing yourself TO BE A
SMOKER, focusing on bringing those urges and cravings in. You know what
it feels like and thinking about it, remembering what it feels like,
trying to feel it, because you know it is there if you can just find it
and VOILA' , you're a smoker again!!.
ALL HYPNOSIS IS SELF HYPNOSIS. You can hypnotize yourself anytime you
want. This works and works very well. I suggest you know what you are
going to do when you are done with the hypnosis seminar and be on your
way and do it. Do not focus on the old memories of those urges, trying
to feel and bring in the craving for the tobacco or nicotine ( you think
you're just checking it out to see if it's there, thinking, using your
memory, trying to feel that urge or craving- BUT YOU'RE REALLY RE-HYNOTIZING
YOURSELF TO BE A SMOKER). If you just go on with your life and not focus
on the cigarettes or think about them, you will not ever miss those
cigarettes or tobacco. If you get this part, you will do this with great
success.
A light trance is as trancy as you need to get for this to work. This
means you do not have to experience a deep trance. Deeper trances do not
work better, but they are more interesting. A nice light trance is all
you need for this to work. This means you simply, sit back, try to
relax, listen to my voice and thinking about what I'm saying,
participating and if you hear me, remember everything I say, are aware
of other noises around you, that's fine. To help you focus on my voice
so you are not too distracted, focus on your breathing, feeling and
listening to yourself breathe as you listen to every word I speak. Keep
your tongue off the roof of your mouth so you can relax and relax your
eyelids. If you do this, you won't have tension in your face or body.
Keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them. Simply
participating by following my instructions, will make you a great
subject and you will be hypnotized even if you "don't feel
anything" because you won't, other than feel relaxed. Afterwards,
you will FEEL better, healthier, happier and stronger.
You are always in control. Always. Your senses become keener. You
become more aware, not less. You hear me, and if you feel the need to
know what I say, you'll keep your level of physical consciousness up,
tuned in on me so you can be aware of what is being said. Your mind may
wonder. It can and if it does, just bring your attention back to my
voice thinking about what I am saying. Think about cleaning up your
system as we do a cleansing on your body of toxins. This is powerful. In
a light trance, you may not feel very relaxed and you may hear someone
coughing, etc. but try to focus on my voice and think about what I am
saying and as long as you can do that, you ARE participating and WILL be
hypnotized. And a nice light trance is as trancy as you need to get to
make this work. This is like a mind exercise. You do not just listen to
me as if I'm telling you a story but think about it, using your
imagination, being creative, actually participating with the mind at
work and feel it with emotion to make it most powerful.
I recommend listening to your CD "Stop Smoking with
Hypnosis" by C.J. Savage, EVERYDAY for for the first 21 days to
reinforce these suggestions so you will never smoke again. After the
first 21 days, listen to it when you feel like it, want to, can't sleep
or your stress level is up.
Even if you have no desire to smoke, I suggest you listen to it
anyway so if you do ever become very stressed over anything, you won't
go back to smoking ever again. It will also help you to reduce your
stress, daily.
